Grand Canyon

I believe Peace wrote about this MEMORABLE experience via email to her friends. Here are a few pictures. Her words.

"As some of u know i am vacationing in Arizona!!!!!! And guess what we did yesterday? We went to the Grand Canyon! It was quite an experience.

So the drive to Grand Canyon is like 4 hours. When we get there it starts raining/ sprinkling. As we walk through the rain gets harder, and mom said" these r some big raindrops." When we get there we go to the bathroom and by the time we get out it is FREEZING COLD  and its raining HARD ! Now mind u we don't expect it to rain so we didn't bring an umbrella. And my adorable 7 year old cousin Jasmine (who some of u have met) is wearing shorts and a short sleeved shirt. She was freezing!!!!! Then we hear thunder and this guy goes "Ai, Ai, Ai" To make a long story short, it was a REALLY BIG STORM. So we left and went to this hotel and dried our stuff at this hotel as we sat in the car and relaxed. After about 20 min. we went back to the Grand Canyon, which was beautiful!!!!!!!! It looked like a sketch and was kinda scary to look down though. But get this, so Im guessing the animals there weren't scared of humans because this squirrel comes right up to us! But then, get this, this girl bends down and pets the squirrel, which is a wild animal by the way. And her parents r just standing there taking pictures. and then my uncle goes " u know squirrels carry rabies."

So we had a good time and I'm sure there will be many more.
